Try this limitedsingle-origin coffee from Finca La Laja, a historic family estate located in the fertile highlands of Tlaltetela, Veracruz, roasted by Frontside Coffee Roasters. The Sampieri family began cultivating coffee here in 1920, drawn to the region’s rich volcanic soils, high elevation, and ideal growing climate. Over the decades, their dedication evolved into AC La Laja SA de CV, which today oversees four meticulously managed farms totaling more than 100 hectares of coffee production.
This lot from Finca La Laja features Caturra and Gárnica varietals, grown between 1130–1250 meters and processed using the yellow honey method, a technique that enhances natural sweetness while preserving clarity and balance. Careful depulping, controlled drying, and attentive farm management result in a cup that beautifully expresses the character of Veracruz terroir.
Experience the inviting sweetness and smooth profile of this Mexican medium roast. Expect creamy milk chocolate, juicy stone fruit, and subtle cane sugar notes, creating a warm, comforting cup with gentle complexity. The combination of generational expertise, rich soil, and a carefully executed honey process makes this coffee a standout offering from one of Mexico’s most respected producing families.
Order your freshly roasted Mexico Finca La Laja from Frontside Coffee Roasters and enjoy a beautifully sweet, balanced coffee perfect for drip, pour-over, or your morning batch brew.
